Refund Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
We want you to be happy with Ctrbuddy. If it isn’t right for you, you can get a full refund within 14 days of a purchase if you have barely used it. Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, which issues every refund.
Who can get a refund
You can get a full refund when both of these are true:
- you ask within 14 days of the charge, whether it was a first subscription payment, a renewal or a credit top-up; and
- you have used less than 10% of the credits that the charge added to your account.
You can try the Service first with 100 free credits before you buy. Credits spent on generations that fail because of an error on our side are returned automatically and don’t count as used.
How to request a refund
Email support@ctrbuddy.com from your account email address. Include your Paddle order number (it starts with “txn_” or appears in your receipt email). You can also request a refund directly from Paddle using the link in your receipt or at paddle.net.
We aim to reply within 2 business days.
How refunds are processed
- Paddle refunds the payment to your original payment method, including any tax it collected.
- Depending on your bank, the refund can take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
- When a subscription payment is refunded, the subscription is cancelled and the credits from that payment are removed from your account. When a top-up is refunded, its credits are removed.
Cancelling vs. refunding
Cancelling stops future renewals, but it does not refund the current period. After you cancel, you keep your plan and credits until the period ends. You can cancel at any time from your subscription page in the dashboard.
Forgot to cancel before a renewal? Ask within 14 days of the renewal charge. If you have used less than 10% of that renewal’s credits, we will refund it.
Exceptions
- Requests made after 14 days, or after 10% or more of the purchased credits have been used, are not normally eligible. We still review them case by case, for example if a technical problem stopped you from using the Service.
- We may refuse refunds where we see clear abuse, such as repeated buy-and-refund cycles or accounts suspended for breaking our Terms.
- If you open a chargeback instead of contacting us, we may suspend the account while the dispute is resolved. Please contact us first. It is almost always faster.
Your statutory rights
This policy does not affect your rights under applicable consumer law. Purchases are also covered by Paddle’s Buyer Terms, and Paddle may grant refunds under those terms. If this policy and the law or Paddle’s Buyer Terms give you a better outcome, the better outcome applies.
